A History of Music
As a lover of classical music, one major project currently in the works is to create a playlist that chronicles the history of classical music. After listening to several hours of a composer, usually by listening to Spotify’s curated composer playlists, I select five of my favorite selections (which hopefully represent the composer’s style), and add them to the playlist. The music is sorted by the composer’s date of birth to provide a general chronologicality. I also maintain an abridged version of this playlist which contains only one selection per composer.
Along my listening journey, I keep track of some of my all-time favorite works. You can see a list of them here.
- Light [Score] [Synthesized Recording], written in advance for a Hackathon project which never happened.
- Minaret Theme [Score] [Synthesized Recording], composed for Minaret Hackathon Project
- Luca’s Theme [Score] [Synthesized Recording], composed for my good friend Gianluca
